The Telling Stories Press will publish books, but not sell them.

We will partner with charities to deliver supported picture book making programmes in which small groups of people will develop individual picture books inspired by their ideas and lived experiences.

There will be celebrations and storytelling book launches, and the book makers and charity partners will be gifted a pile of books each to keep and share.

A touring library of books:

Two copies of each book we make together through the supported picture book making programmes will be kept in a library archive, which will be shared at book festivals and events. The archive will be available to community groups to borrow, to inspire their own book making.

Online open-access library:

There will be an open-access digital library on the website which will share the community books published by The Telling Stories Press.
