Supported picture book making programmes
We work with people whose voices are often unheard, to turn their ideas and lived experiences into illustrated books.
Our programmes working 1-1 with adults span six months and end with a stack of published books to share at a community launch event. We usually have a few individuals making books at the same time, and organise group meet ups as part of the process.
As this work grows in scale, we will build a micro-library of grassroots picture books to share at schools, playgroups and book festivals.
Our collaborative picture books made with young people and families are projects often delivered in partnership with museums, galleries or arts organisations. We design and deliver collaborative community picture books, made by a group of people together.
Do get in touch if you’d like to chat through either strand of work. We take referrals from charities for our 1-1 adults programme, and are always looking for new partner organisations to work with to design and develop collaborative book projects.

This programme has been fantastic, Rose is inspires confidence in all of the participants in our ability and the importance of our stories. I've had the opportunity to interact with members of the community I would not have met otherwise.
